... We just use teamplay  We don't recrut by the sp level or kill/death ratio like others, so each week 3 or 4 newbies joins the corporation, and you meet them with starting fits. 90% of our vets take proto fits only for planetary conquest or when we see proto stompers against us.
Before saying we "use proto squads tactics", play the victory, play in squad, lead your squad and never leave the fight when you see a corp squad.
A few days ago, I was with a full newbies squads. I start a fight and I see 7 guys leaving the fight at the start and one of them text me "again Prima..., no way to farm us, bye scrubs". Big lol, if they played they probably won, but they decided to lose directly.
But we are out of the subject:
1 Breach rifles (nobody use the classics AR now, it's strange because normally blasters are the masters of close fights, but visibly CCP want to see everyone with a breach, a rail or a scrambler.
2 Bolt pistol (shotgun+sniper=bolt pistol)
3 Rails
4 Scramblers
5 Snipers
The problem is: CCP see how many weapons of each kind are bought and they try to equilibrate with buffs and nerfs. So we see a lot of breachs and scramblers because they want us to use it more. It's a mistake because if we don't use some variants it's because they are less polyvalent than the others, not because they are useless.
It's not normal to use principaly breachs instead of classics AR, it's not normal to prefer the six kin machinegun than the classic boundless. The game had to be balanced considering the variants have A SPECIFIC UTILITY, they are not supposed to be better than the classics ones in all case, and it's normal to see the biggest part of purchase for the most versatiles ones.
Now the best combo is calda scouts with creodron breach AR (bolt in secondary), or calda scouts scrambler. They are fast, they can cloak, they see everyone and they have the longest range of scan, their hitbox is ridiculous, only other scouts see them, like the other scouts they have 2 equipment modules, and if you want to tank them, you can put 800hp (like a commando, heavy suit...lol)

TBH it's been a really random mix of weapons recently. Maybe a bit more from RR but more people have been using them lately. You can tell from the racket. |
