Of course HMG is #1, and Shotgun #2. What suits do you expect to run those weapons?
Lately, #3 has become Combat Rifle, #4 the Warbage. Believe it or not, these are the only causes of my deaths in 1.9.

I'm not sure why the RR doesn't show up in this list -- I would venture to guess as a former RR user I'm just hyper aware of their kill zones -- but I don't feel like it's top 3.
Then again, I didn't expect to see my hacks as low as they were when Scotsman shared with me my stats, so I'm not really confident in my perceptions. |

The person who always manages to kill me is the that one militia player who is either smart enough or scared enough not to appear until I have expended the magazines of both my weapons and have little armor left. He proceeds to shoot at me wildly failing to take into account accuracy or conservation of ammo. And he finishes off what more with more expensive methods could not.

Ask yourself honestly, when was the last time you seen a meaningful amount of people using and doing alright with the AR? Just because it performs better than the standard variant doesn't mean it needs to be nerfed. It's only strong at short range and outside of it's optimal all the other racial rifles will still wreck a BAR user.
I'm surprised Maynard hasn't been assassinated yet.

When I still ran around it was a mix bag of CR and RR. Shotguns weren't too bad because they're not a stealthy high damage weapon like Nova Knives. When you hear that dodgeball popping off I know to be aware of my surroundings.
I mainly died to Bolt Pistols after I decided to drop it for the TT-3 Assault Scr Pistol and CAR-9 Burst Scr Pistol. Seriously the CAR-9 is a CalScout killer.

Yeah the standard AR is in a better position than it used to be. Shortly after the ballistics nerf to shields I spawn in a Manus Peak skirmish with the Gek just for the hell of it and went 40 something kills and less than 5 deaths (my team was kind of crappy and didn't do a good job defending the objectives). Of course I wasn't engaging people at range which is why I didn't die much and there were a lot of shield suits.
The standard AR variant is decent enough to kill and is great against shields but the BAR still feels like it performs better.
I'm surprised Maynard hasn't been assassinated yet.

Aria, Have you tried the Breach ScP? I find it better than either the Assault or Burst in terms of killing scouts. Said a bit differently, it's much easier to hit them with two or three pulls of the trigger than seven or eight. |

All this nerf Breach AR nonsense and no one is calling out the Combat Rifle's overperformance still is hilarious to me.
Combat Rifle easily beats the Breach AR in CQC and long Range, and only the breach AR is Over Performing??.... is this some kind of conspiracy?
CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.
