Ask yourself honestly, are the other Variants of the Plasma Rifles worth using compared to other racial rifles in the game? I'll answer that for you, no. TAC AR maybe yes, but that weapon requires some skill so that's not going to be a noob friendly weapon. According to the DUST 514 community it's perfectly acceptable to have a weapon that operates in all ranges, from 5 meters to 100 meters but it's complete heresy to have a weapon that only does something <60 Meters and is near useless outside of it. Love the Double Standards, keep them coming. Next We'll have Large Rail Turrets that do well at Close Range Combat and Long Range vehicle combat...Ohh wait CCP holds the Caldari's hand so this doesn't happen again.

Then you have all other weapons x) Take out all forms of scans and you'll see how great Dust can be. Scrubs will cry, good players will love it.
