I don't think that would actually happen. I'd bet that without scouts running around barely needing to de cloak before instablapping everyone with less than 1000 HP, more people would use medium frames. A lot more.

He cloaks mostly to cross large stretches of ground from what I've seen. Tell you what, though, considering he's the only person who's ever knifed me several times, even when you are in the same squad, seeing him run off and cloak still sends a little chill down your spine.

Thanks for all the nerfs though, it won't help the fact that sometimes we run as a squad and communicate, but it does help us regain some of the pride we lost when we were the most heavily gimped class.
I've stopped going for kills 100% of the time... every injured soldier removes two capable soldiers from the line.
That's a completely baseless argument used to protect scouts. Assaults cannot effectively counter scout ewar in it's current state. The math is overwhelmingly in your favor, thus it is pointless. I put a complex precision mod on all my logi suits and can see the lazy dual tanked scouts with that and my maxed out passive skills but the second complex is not worth it as the damped scouts will still be invisible, especially when cloaked.
Let's not pretend your advantage is really that easy to counter.
