Ok, now that the horny guys have had their fun with "hurdy hur hur, boobies", I went ahead and bought Jara and am posting everything that the rest of us want to know.
here's the album of pics I took (sorry, my camera is crappy)
Jara Kumora
Information:
She's the same size as us, scale wise. But standing next to her she appears taller because of her high heels.
She doesn't move at all, not even her head, and there's no passive animation, so no breathing or shifting of weight.
She's always in the same place when you spawn in the merc room.
she is semi-see through and you can walk through her.
when you are next to her, if you press circle, you will be taken to a menu that shows all of your assets for you to sell for isk.
Aurum items also give you isk.
She actually looks pretty cool, and her eyes are totally BA.
As far as proportions go, yes, it's true she's a bit busty, but she's not bad. the Cal medium suit has more unrealistic proportions and I should know because I once spent a whole day tracing and comparing suits to choose what I wanted to skill into because I care about how I look over how I perform.

I'm hoping that CCP will eventually allow her to move around a little bit. Kind of like our mercs do when we are editing our suits in our fittings.
Also, I want to see her be in different places whenever we return to our room. So either leaning against a wall, or by the neocom, or sitting on the couch, or reading a book etc.
I guess I just want Jara to have some sort of personality.
But yeah, I really like her.

Dont take it personaly, but she have hand under her bosom.
I will be glad if she will make something what make her more alive, hell that quarters are such a lonely place sometimes.

The problem though is that she is being displayed as a human, and represents a human. A lack of slight movement immediately makes her feel alien and is subconsciously jarring. Something as simple as a slight shift in weight, glancing to the side, etc, would help immersion a lot. Nevermind if you make her breathe....

The issue is not shovinism or any other thingie, problem is everyone is just hidden behind the screen and they can tell anything stupid or full of hate or pain for someone, without any consequences.

yeah, I thought so too at first. But she's kind of grown on me. Also, she's not the worst when it comes to proportions. Caldari Mediums have that category.

lol. I'm not going to get upset or anything over this because it's the forums. The forums make it really hard to follow a person's train of thoughts or actions...
but if you must know, I was interested in more than what she looked like and like some other women mercs had mentioned in the forums was actively trying to compile information to see if buying Jara was worth the 10 dollars.
The only post we were able to find with any sort of meaningful information was a thread made by Gabriella Grey, but even that felt lacking, and there were no pictures to show as examples (that she doesn't move, that she is taller because of her heels, what pose is she in etc).
So once I finished downloading the update I bought my Calscout quafe suit and Jara and then went to the forums to let other customers know. The ones that cared about Jara in her entirety instead of if she just had large breasts. the rest is history.
And hey, what's wrong with my t.v.? (o_O )
