I was thinking about how the new players who don't have a proto suit yet are going to get wrecked by everyone trying to capitalize on the new ISK payouts in the millions by running full proto.
Then I realized something.
Both teams will be running proto. I think this will actually have a counterbalancing effect that could be really good for the game.
Even if the player doesn't have full proto, if he has a good Mu rating he will place into even more challenging matches. It makes me wonder if the lower Mu people will have matches free of proto entirely or not. My guess is probably not but who knows.

Early screenshot shown battles with Milita or Advance gear restrictions. This has never made it for public consumptions and hopes CCP will look into Millita only battles with lower isk and salvage rewards but higher skill reward.
Hell, Destiny has a mode where skills don't matter much..
Over 60+ Million SP and full proto in all Caldari Suits. No matter how hard CCP tries Dust just won't die on PS3/Xbox.

I think MLT only is kind of stupid, but nothing higher than ADV would be perfect. Then again MLT would be perfect for new players.

I want them to remove the team balancing... It absolutely fucks over skilled solo players such as myself.
It expects us to carry a team of blueberries to victory against full proto squads.
I liked it better when it was random.

I'm just gonna say: I've had nothing but hard battles today. It's freaking fantastic. So many people are coming back and everyone is spamming Proto like crazy.

Im gonna guess the isk payout is gonna go back to normal eventually. Good players are still gonna kill bad players. Proto or not. Risk vs Reward is gonna kick back in for players that cant sustain constant proto. Proto stomping will be back.
Its basically Dust's version of Income Tax Season. Everybody got new sneakers and a iPhone now. Flashing on Instagram and Facebook. It'll be back to normal eventually.
The struggle is coming.

No, the people who actually take this game seriously and perform well at it will be rewarded. I don't see a problem with people who are less skilled not being as highly rewarded.
In fact this is reversing the trend of people with little to no skill being rewarded just for running the proto. Now those of us who have been wallowing in lower meta gear struggling to kill proto now have the option to fight the damn bastards instead of keel over and accept the inevitable.
Bro... with payouts at the #1 spot on the leaderboard being over 10 million at times, you'd have to be a mentally challenged person not to profit off it.

How long is this payout boost gonna last though? Once it does end (im assuming it will) and people are losing big chunks of isk each battle they'll stop running proto gear.

Today has been ridiculous. I haven't seen this many Proto-Stompers since I started the damn game.
FA and NS squads gave bloody good fights to the DMG and RE squads I was in today. Actually had to use tactics, not melting people. Was fun.
Fighting with old Seraphim guys against 0H, FA, NS, etc. Damn. Today was a good day.

They need to go. Protosuits were never meant to be sustainable.

But now protosuits can be accessed relatively easily by all. Though it is a bit socialisitc for my taste and the precedents set by the past payouts and skill gains.

No. It makes the NPE terrible by forcing them to fight protousers.
There is supposed to be a reason to not use prototype stuff.
