pretty good, maybe take some elements from this CCP?
OMG!!
It looks AWESOME! *OMFGHAXX0RZ!!!* *cums* *faints*
That game is making some serious progress. lol
Holy smokes, how should Legion look? *gasp*
If i will be on medium specs for star citizent, i will defo buy it.
That game after whole that trashtallk from others seems like really great experience (with czech Kingdom Come: Deliverance or what is name of that game DEFO two indie AWESOMELY LOOKING titles).
BTW that walk back to Pc with Project Legion can became really big setback for CCP if Star Citizent will have everything notched before legion.
Anyway i looking forward both, we will see what will be better.
From my perspective possibility to play Space Simulation, FPS and Scavenge systems all of that on one platform in star citizent seems now better for me.
Than have EvE and Legion and must buy Ps4 for valkyrie.
But how i told i will see later how it will be with overall technique around both games.
I've already contributed to SC, and I did a couple of the Arena Commander tests.
If they fix, that hit detection and smooth the animations a bit, FPS in SC is going to be nice.
My biggest concern with SC right now, is how it's going to handle LARGE-SCALE fights.
Even among the PC gaming community, a lot of people's PCs would struggle with SC. SC will work 100% smooth, so long as your system can handle it.
But I'm running a pair of 780 Ti, an i7, and 32 gb of mem (for VM work). I work with my rig. Not everyone's gaming PCs are pushing capacities that high. So large-scale pvp and social situations will be hard on their machines.
Imagine a Burn Jita event in Star Citizen.... a lot of systems would fry. lol
RSI has a very talented team, and they are making solid progress. They are meeting their deadlines and are on point with telling people what to expect. I do not regret buying into that game at all.
CCP is also a very talented team. They made some bad calls with the Dust Project, and figured out too late that what they envisioned, they could not do on the PS3. But they did something new by bridging a console game with a PC game. They were innovative and I don't regret the time I've spent on Dust.
RSI's Star Citizen is going to basically be a game like EVE, but with free-form integration of spaceflight, FPS, and ground mechanics. Which is a huge and daunting task. I don't think they are prepared for the challenge that awaits once people are actually in the game building the economy and pvping. CCP already HAS that player-economy experience.
CCP's Legion is a far smaller challenge to pull off. They've already gotten past the hard part (making EVE stable).
