So with 1.9 once you've gotten 50% on reselling market items you should be able to make a ridiculous amount of money by playing faction warfare and buying and selling proto weapons. With a high ranking and a booster or two you can pull in anywhere from 20-30 proto weapons per match.
Here's an example with KRR
Value of Resell at 50%
47,220 / 2 = 23,610
Subtract the cost of LP KRR
23,610-7,083= $16,527 of profit per KRR and I didn't do the numbers for the Assault version but it's worth around 30,000 more in the store and costs only 4,000 more for the LP variant which should profit around 11,000 more per weapon for the mere cost of 20 LP more than the standard version.
So that's somewhere around 27,000 per weapon for every Assault KRR you resell.
Basically if you work it the right way you won't really have to play pubs anymore, except for when you can't find a factional battle. :)
Edit: Forgot to mention you'll have to buy the holograph chick. |

How much LP do you earn. How often do you win to earn that LP. How much LP does the weapon cost? How much isk/lp are you spending to win a match?
There's a lot more to sustainability than your very basic math shows.

If only CCP would get FW players to HTFU and officially sign on to a single faction at a time with meaningful penalties for being disloyal.
Once again FW has been relegated to a farmers paradise.

Ok at level 7 Cal with Booster I can buy 16 Assault KRRs for one game
16 x 27,000 = 432,000
Subtract what you lose from battle.
The 27,000 is an estimate from my KRR math, it should be worth slightly more.

No, it would actually be worth less, because you have to average wins and losses and factor in value of suits spent in both wins and losses. A lot of FW matches are very knock-down drag-out bloody slugfests when they aren't stomps.

Obviously you have to factor in loss of suits but I'm talking payouts and 400K for a win is paying out more than pubs are currently. There's a lot of variables involved like having a high rank and buying the merchant booster but if you do it right FW is going to be more profitable than pubs.
Edit: Plus factor in your other salvage from the battle. |

20% basic level for everyone. Get up your loyalty / merc rank and you can boost that to 35%, then add on the market vendor hologram and you boost that up further to 50%

I could dig it.
However, to mitigate this a bit, we should have a "Black Market" on your faction store. Like be able to buy certain Amarr or Caldari faction items for Minmatar LP at a higher price. Allows you to get your hands on uplinks and hives that you would otherwise be unable to get.
It would also be cool to get some more items in there. The Minmatar are lacking in Ferroscales and Kincats, which are staples in most of their suits.

It wouldn't be as necessary.
Remember, FW items are CHEAP ISK wise. So long as you pull a profit on LP, and sell the salvage for ISK, you could actually run FW constantly at a PROFIT.
Provided that you win. You don't get LP for losing, but you still get salvage.
If it goes well, I might just try and get a Minmatar Milita going. Only faction without a good FW channel.

LP and AUR items pay out the same as the ISK item in terms of resell. I read that from a dev somewhere. Obviously if prices change on items then my math's incorrect and It also requires you to get to 50%. Even if you have only 40% resell you should still be able to make some ISK if you do it right. |
