Being a veteran has nothing to do with a number. Not sure what point you're trying to make here. For me it's not about the numbers. It's about having ALL your dropsuit upgrades maxed, so you're just that much better, faster, and stronger. It's about feeling a sense of accomplishment becoming, for example, a Gallente Logi. I was very proud of this because hardly anyone else was willing to choose that race. Not anymore.
It's really not that great. You hit that point and you become jaded because you now lack a sense of progression. Like you've no where to go but sideways into a cross specialization that you're not very good at.
What's worse is because there's a lack of progression in relation to the suits themselves, you can max out all your dropsuit upgrades/weapons and then you're left with just the suits... Which can't upgrade any further then just the one skill. So once you get that to level 5 you're at a brick-wall where you have to train into yet another cross specialization that you're not very good at or don't care for.
People criticize the Legion way of going things (suits/weapons locked behind progression trees) but I honestly would prefer it so that I could felt like I could become more powerful... This is just... I dunno man. I feel like I've reached the end game three times already.

Just the grind that I went through to get my skills. I didn't like any of the triple SP events that much either but I'm all for whatever brings new players in so don't get me wrong I like the SP changes as I hope more players stick around.
Oh god, can you imagine triple SP events now?
New cap + stacked omega boosters x triple SP = 6,750,000 SP

After a certain sp point.. You already have multiple suits, maxed passives, multiple guns, ect. All at a proto level. Anymore sp just opens up a few more options but you can only use one suit at a time..So in my eyes the value of sp starts to goes down after first 30m sp. The first 30m sp is probably the most critical. If this brings alot more noobs up to speed with vets the game will feel alot more balanced imo.
Certainly have a point there. Although, 6.75m SP is still rather alarming for one week ._.
