It's perfect now. In fact, it's comparable to the SCR effectiveness in CQC. You can still get hipfire kills with it, but you have to be precise and make your shots count before recoil becomes unbearable, similar to the SCR with it's overheat.
The RR is hands, down the most versatile weapon in the game. But because It has the best zoom and range, it should have had some cqc drawbacks. The increased recoil was pretty much perfect, as it forces you to fire in bursts in cqc which makes the charge up time matter, or makes you switch to a secondary.
But all in all, you can still get hipfire kills with the weapon, just don't miss and carry a backup.

People complaining about it are most likely self entitled, lazy superfit scouts.
I still barely notice any recoil and my rail rifle skill is only at 3
If I don't hold down the trigger down forever and spray and pray like a jackass the recoil barely hinders me
People that can't achieve greatness without exploitation don't deserve to exist. Enroll in scout erradication today.

I'm glad Cal still have FW turf,who else would i buy 100% glowing green injectors from?
Or even glowing green nanohives...that repair armor but not shields...
It's not like the gallente store has any of these life saving items.

We will see if the nerf was even enough there is always that tear dump when ever they try fix something obviously broken all the skill less bums in this game. I would bet it isn't, but if I am wrong everyone will migrate to the CR and it will get fixed. I saw some people talking about the BAR being fotm lol it is a weapon that is good at range with low capacity for it; I like the standard AR much more so even if for some odd reason the sheep do graze that way it won't mean much.
I can't wait till 1.9 I spent my first match getting farmed by SG scouts not that I think it will make much difference, but lets hope. 9 deaths that round it was painful we won though that is all I really care about. infact my second round went the same way partially some red line snipers killed me also in that one. Maybe I should just go back to bed lol.

Funny thing I was in Learning Coalition today and someone (no names) was complaining about the combat rifle being "useless" now. I told him to go try out the rail rifle and he resorted to personal attacks afterward
