Mortedeamor honestly do you ever shut up or do you constantly remind the universe how good you are at LR? You're nothing special compared to every other decent laser rifle user... It's not hard at all... There's no secret OP button to it that half of dust hasn't discovered.... It's a good gun in its own right but it suffers the most range drawbacks out of any gun... The rr has similar range but performs just as well close up... If you are as much of an expert as you claim to be say something useful and provide some evidence as well as numbers to back up your possible changes.

And rr does not perform just as well close up anymore ...This thread is not mine. I tend to comment in threads about lr cause it's my favorite gun ..it's my fave gun cause it takes allot of skill ..you gotta problem with it do something

For 2 and a half years I've played dust ..I've run lr through dawn of scr and rr ..i dueled old friends and allies..imps and nyain San team players and bunnies lr does not need a buff it did once it got buffed now it'd perfect .

Well great, but this thread isn't about being good with a LR.
I go 50-0+ with my Amarrmando, you don't see me mentioning that in every post. And all these silly little names you mention as equals are just human. They die just as easily as any other scrub out there, they aren't gods as you make them out to be. Please focus on the topic and stop ranting.

On the topic, personally I find that the LR perhaps needs a variant that performs better at closer ranges in rapid engagements, an assault variant with a smaller clip, lower efficiency at long range but higher efficiency at short range perhaps.

Slave you can stop raging now. I posted this after using mot laser BPO on a quafe suit. afterwards i tried the Viziam and all my doubts left, but you have to agree the sensitivity is a bit off.

This just sealed the deal for me , after 1.9 I'm going full Amarr , like I said before .. I had a alt that was just Amarr assault and I had so much fun I stopped playing with my main , so I had to kill it but 1.9 will give me new life and I will speck into what makes me comfortable and the style that I like to play .. plus Caldari sucks IMO .

Primarily and I say this with the suggestion a grain of salt be found and ingested..... they simply are..... not interested in complex mechanics or applying them.

That's just it...... who wants to deal with heat build up and weapon A with X optimal when I can pray n spray (the inferior cousin of spray n pray) with a weapon that requires no more maintenance than "press Square".

No saying this as though I'm some godly LR user. I used to be reasonably good at it being all Amarr an all that jazz.... but I will be honest when I say that..... there aren't many decent users that I've come across in game, especially not ones that stuck out the early days when firing the LR blinded you and rendered you ironsights completely uselss, had worse ADS tracking, and worse damage, and still did good with the gun.

morte i hope you don't think i meant any offence, i just get frustrated by the lack of efficient progress on these forums and i'm sick of the trollfest as alot probably are who want reasonable and balanced change. I personally think the LR is not lacking in it's role, it's definitely a beast of a gun, but variants would be nice, all the other rifles have variants now and even some sidearms yet the LR remains a lone wolf that does not follow the same patterns as other guns in the game. That said, more lasers in a match would be terrifying.
