I've been reading a lot of opinion on a lot of guns on the forums for years -- but most especially recently due to the positive trend in Dev / Player feedback with rationale and info/numbers.
Been quite happy about it. But in forming my opinions I sometimes feel I am lacking information.
Most recently I have been thinking about gun roles and niches. In that respect range is a huge factor.
From what I understand CCP has a lot of aggregate data about weapons. For example KD/s. Anyway, when a user dies with a weapon, do you guys have the data on WHICH weapon killed them and at what range as well?
This would help me when brainstorming.

Thank you. In that case I request that next time you guys mention a gun is underperforming, please mention by about how much at which ranges (if possible). That may help us when we discuss the fun as well as help up focus feedback.
Assuming that it isn't giving away too much NDA information of course.

5m. A lot can happen in 10m, and 5m is a more manageable chunk. Plus, you can add them to make 10 when needed.
Proof that Rattati/CCP do listen to the playerbase.

More information will definitely help us give CCP Rattati some better focused feedback and I applaud him for exploring how to get that information to us.
Range of engagement, type of kills, # of kills, data on which map has kills with what weapon...these are all things many folks have asked for as far back I can remember and really can help us paint the picture.

Do you also have all participants/ people assisting recorded on a kill?

(I know data constraints and all but I would like them all the same...)
