Anyone from Closed Beta still around who remembers those alternate railguns? MrShooter01 Storm Wind Strikeforce Caldari State 900	Posted - 2014.10.22 21:30:00 - [15] - Quote I definitely remember GA and CA railguns in ye olden days when the server was only open on weekends GA railguns had the same outer housing model of the large blaster turret, with the railgun barrel we're familiar with sticking out There were some differences between the gallente and caldari rails, I believe the gallente one used more powergrid, and differences in direct and splash damage like OP mentioned

Fine however it almost directly contradicts how I believe HAV turrets should work. Sure high Alpha is great but ) AoE is not right. You should never fire a cannon the size of a building at something and have it fizzle out like and damp candle. Hell even Forges have solid looking impacts. You mean the old rail variations that had stuff like better tracking speed or higher firepower at the cost of increased heat? Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!
