(Inb4 u made yourself terrible. Yes, I realize I was never that amazing to begin with)
Anyway. I'm sure we've all noticed that when you take a month off of dust you come back and are pretty much a total ret4rd for a few battles. This time is different though.
I went 1/9 last night on the winning team, and it wasn't like a meat grinder game where both team almost clone each other out and I got 3000 WP Logi-Ing the crap out of everyone but just happened to get caught in the crossfire several times, I got maybe 700 WP at best and was a total liability in every way. That hasn't happened since, like, early 2013 or,something,
Conclusion: I've totaly lost all situational awareness from playing too much PvE. Any scrub with a scout suit just waltzes right up and blindsides me. Every time, it's almost like i forgot they existed or something.
Anyone have a similar experience?

They couldn't take HAV combat from me though.
You know, I think you may be on to something there. My non-logi-related groundgame has also never been great, but the first night back, in full mixed squads with heavy/medium suits around, I did reasonably well. I mean, I wasn't putting up 2000WP, but who needs a logi when you are roflstomping those misguided matari rebels all night?
Night #2, in a smaller squad... not so much. I'm starting to think that perhaps a squad consisting of myself, an HAV pilot, and a minja is maybe not the optimal grouping for an Amarr logi.
Just a theory, of course, but musturd sure as hell doesn't need any help (knives don't require any ammo, lol), and you're off hunting tanks... I'm sorta left dealing with blueberries who do things like spin in little circles while I try to hack points.
Sounds good to me. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
(Edit: And 100% agree to those who mentioned AA and hit detection from Destiny, Makes me laugh even more about the people who complain about the AA in Dust, it's barely noticeable in comparison)
