no, absolutely no... although I like blueprints... i think a Militia Cloak would be counterproductive

It would suck to the point that it would be useless and the CPU and PG required to fit it would be ridiculous. Then again, it would be funny watching people running around with that and killing them easily due to not being able to fit anything else.. 0.01 isk given
edit: Trying to say that we should also throw in Militia remote explosives would be a good idea. Remotes everywhere...
So apparently facing off against Markus Caldrone while he's in his Min proto assault is not a good idea. Lesson Learned.

Finding a method for the deployment of a MLT cloak is a sticky prospect. The usual/broadly applied method is to give the MLT item the STD stats with higher CPU and PG costs. The value of the MLT is allowing players to try an item and play style without having to spend SP s that they can know if they like the mechanics before investing their SP. This value however is defeated in the case of the cloak in that it is already exceptionally expensive to fit without use of the Scout role but, and thus a MLT version with even higher fittings costs but without the Scout role skill effect would likely be a crippled piece of gear BPO or no.
Finding another method that would still allow the cloak to be useful, weaker than standard, and not prohibitively hard to fit, all while not devaluing the merit of the scout role buff, is a difficult prospect.

That isn't a bad thing! Gimme Milita Cloak NAOW!

give it very low cpu/pg but give it a duration of 10 seconds and a dampening penalty. Utterly useless once you've unlocked the basic but will give a feel for how it works.
You can't fight in here! This is the war room.

I can fit a STD cloak on a g-1 using a basic CPU and all other mods militia except flux nade. engineering 1 electronics 1 gal scout 3 So why not? Not everyone is afraid to use a CPU or PG mode to enable there fittings to work. Im not asking for my 43 mill SP scout. Im asking for my 1.7 mill SP scout that I could fit it if it were a thing.

Easy fix.
Keep as a standard piece of bpo gear but have the cloak time reduced to 15 - 20 seconds.

That does indeed seem to be a workable way to give players the option to try the play style of the gear (the goal of MLT gear) and yet not buck the power curve or mess with the scout role.
@Thread, can anyone see some way in which this would be OP (nothing jumps out at me but I like to get more than one set of eyes on).
If no exploitable aspects are seen then this could be a method for getting a MLT cloak in game. And if we can viably deploy a MLT cloak then I see no reason why there could not be a BPO iteration of it on the market.
