Support vehicle.
Primarily use>Deployment of fresh infantry on battlefield
Secondary use>Supportive supressive fire
How we can see, dropship is still just "taxi" armed, but its specification is still "Taxi".

Dropships are fine, i can see many pilots who basicaly mastered their skill for stunts what i never saw before (like flying through open spaces of instalation on battlefield and taking cover even behind the horizont).
There is nothing what is in comparsion between swarmies and dropships unbalanced now
