It's funny how people rage about Nyain when only about half of their corp is active. I've never played against/with Molon Labe, so I don't know about them, but i've played with some Nyain members, and mostly we just lolfitted commandos and stuff.

Nyan San 1 up Lord British Moton Labe etc...
I propose that those CORPs get hit with the tryhard tag.
This tag would have one function; any squad composed of these corps would have to wait for a public contract with another tryhard tagged group opposing them.
Bam, I just made your game way more enjoyable for 99% of your userbase CCP. start a tryhard thread.. Nyan San 1 up Lord British Molon Labe G0DS among men and so on.. GAM? lol Who gets beat up by those bums?
Ahem.

Jathniel wrote:Don't do that, OP. Calling someone a "tryhard" is a juvenile way of responding when another player is better than you. Why not get to know some of those "tryhards"? You might make friends, and learn a thing or two.
I've met and played with really cool players in this game from old school corps like TeamPlayers and the Imperfects. It was great going into matches with Sleepy Zan, and chatting and talking about different sniper tactics and methods of approach for Scout Snipers. (This is back in the day when actually being a Scout was hard and imbalanced, whether you ran a shotgun, sniper, AR, or NK.) It was cool doing old school "corp battles" with the Imperfects and learning and developing different kinds of tactics. From coordinated crossfires, to the established zones of control they were used in. Often our tactics would work, and we would win, and ALWAYS the Imperfects would adapt with a tactic of their own, and come back with a win. I absolutely miss playing with those guys.
Even today, you got great people that are great players. Someone earlier put that "tryhard" tag on even duna. duna is a great player, and his corp has some cool people in it as well. His english isn't the best, but that doesn't matter. Just as soon as you shoot him or he shoot you, he would invite you to squad to play a few matches. Him and his crew are simply just incredibly cool people to hang out with.
All this "tryhard" nonsense is just not necessary. Maybe these people aren't "trying hard", they're just playing smart; therefore forcing you to try hard. Maybe they just hung out with each other long enough to understand that a squad isn't comprised of a bunch of random green dots running around without direction. Maybe they understand that out of their squad, 3 of them--with decent enough aim worth the slightest damn-- can set up 3-way crossfire killing perimeter that is effective enough to lock down a whole segment of the map. Which is why you only FEEL like you're getting ganked. Maybe they know how to take a sniper and 2 ground units, and lock nearly an entire enemy team within an objective.
Maybe... I'm wasting my time, and you're still going to convince yourself that the people that actually make this game worth playing, are the ones breaking it.
EDIT: More people came to mind. There are cool people in Nyain as well, that I squaded up with a few times that actually were trying to help new players. Giving them the basics on how to manage their isk, etc. Don't act like corps that enjoy the game are breaking anything. We need more like them. It's a great loss that so many good people, have stopped playing Dust, including folks from my own.
Duna helped me out before in a pub before. He probably doesn't remember me but after the match everyone in our squad got invites to join his corp.

I usually do pretty well on most other days of the week. But man oh man I get my hind end handed to me on Wednesdays and Thursdays. That doesn't stop me from playing though.
How about fridays?

Perhaps I worded this wrong. There are still plenty of really good players and squads the rest of the week. But I've noticed that most of the proto stompers are on Wednesday and Thursday. Things usually calm down quite a bit by Friday. I'm not saying that you won't run into proto stompers during any other day of the week. Things may change once 1.9 comes out. My guess is tha@t it all just depends on the content released.
I can only play on the weekends and holidays. Friday is my main day.
