Players are about to have an f-ton of ISK from selling all of their salvage. Couple that with the recent BPO sales and the value of ISK is going to plummet... unless...
ISK sinks.
We need them. Using the current systems and features in game, what could potentially become an ISK sink?

Does this mean we can expect the LP store to get a review soon? Stuff is missing, the ISK:LP ratios are off.
Also, can the reputation gain rates be looked at? I feel like the first 3 levels of reputation should be easier targets. 9 and 10 should be massive PITAs.

I'd rather them build in a restocking fee to curtail overall ISK flows AND tweak incentives to emphasize winning a bit more.

Sine I don't play anymore I don't have much of a say, but some Ideas:
1. Re-impliment the closed beta corp battles. For those of you who forgot or were not there, they were wager matches. Your corp put up an ISK wager amount and any corp willing to bet that amount of money that they will win accepts your challenge.
2. Increase the costs of higher end gear (modules, suits, weapons AND equipment) so that the price actually makes them a risk to run rather than being able to afford to run proto 24/7 even when dying regularly. This will encourage people to run basic and advanced to save ISK again and use their proto gear mainly when there is good call for it and for PC/FW
3. Dare I say it..... paint bucket? A basic set of color options, even if it is only to color the suit a solid color and the eyes another, costing massive ISK amounts every time you want a pallet swap, there are plenty who would do it. (I know, not a reasonable request, but still....)
4. Put Slay in the merc quarters. We requested this back before Chromosome as it would be something to do while waiting for matches, and it still holds true. Something to do in the merc quarters would be great be it Slay, Pong, or even something as mundane as Solitaire or Chess. Or make your own EVE card game, whatever, SOMETHING to do in there that costs ISK per play, and bonus points if you can play it with squad mates.
5. Allow players to bid money on their team in pub matches before queing for a match. If you win you get your money back plus you gain a percentage of your bid based on the enemy team's end scores, if you loose your ISK is added to the enemy team's rewards pool. Don't really have any particulars for the calculation if you win, speculate and pontificate among yourselves on that one. This was just a random idea I thought up before hitting the post button. But you HAVE to bid before entering matchmaking, it's gambling not an ISK farm. If you think your squad is good enough to weather whatever is thrown at your team, you can bid on it. If not, don't bid. Also, possibly increase % chance of good gear dropping at the end of match based on the amount you bid.

Forgive me parring down your post to these two ideas, but I like them both a lot. Earlier in this thread, Cat Merc proposed a tier above proto. Let's call it Sleeper gear. Slightly improved performance, slightly higher fitting requirements, noticeably more expensive (x5 - x10 as much as proto gear). What are your opinions on such a feature?

They really screwed up not providing a team deploy mode to prepare for PC. Right off the bat it made the beta players who'd participated in corp battles invincible.
Then the mechanics that allowed small teams to control so much.
Winning a tough PC with a group of your corpmates is easily the most fun I've had in video games.
