A strictly within 50m-70m engagement range weapon (Unless you're talking large stationary targets like turrets), but eats a rail for breakfast in terms of DPS :3

A Tanks main cannon should atleast be able to fire accurately out to 750m.....even my Tiger ******* VI Ausf can do that and its 60000 years inferior in tems of tech.
No, they would be able to hit for longer range, but just like the infantry PLC, it's a matter of skill and luck.

That has to be a must...... absolutely pointless if a gun powered by a nuclear fusion reactor to produce the same energy in a single shot as the UK and France use yearly could not project its weapons systems past 200m. I mean hell even the standard hunting rifle people chase deer around with can do that.
Umm, did you check the ranges of ALL DUST weapons?
An M16 has double the effective range of a railgun.
