If you started one i'm sure you could raise the funds for larger scale advertisement, client updates, and possibly pushing the game for PS4 release!
I would be the first to donate just to see a player trade market, inertia added to movement, the actual ScR fix (not the nerf it got even after we pointed out the real problem), a Planetary Conquest makeover (that includes more gear, ships, upgrades, and pirating), More EVE/DUST414 interaction, and so much more that could be done with a client patch or two!
I would go so far as to say you would collect enough to put legion on PS4! You could advertise to build the player base! All of the guys who play blacklight retribution would definitely play a new and improved dust! Your competition on the PS4 system is non existent?! Destiny is great for what it is, but is no DUST!
Start a kickstarter! I've seen them started for utter stupidity, and people donated anyway?! its not a fact that ccp cannot afford it.. there is a level of experteze and a standard of work they require... and they have most all the staff split 50/50 working on eve and Legion.. save rattati and logibro on dust.. when legion is released as a "live client" that is when redistribution of coders and devs will happen and will be like.. 33/33/33 dust/legion/eve again.. so just calm your mamaries boyo
More like 0/40/60, or 0/30/70
I don't even think Dust got 50% when it was just Dust/Eve since, from what I understand, Dust devs were constantly pulled to helpwith Eve projects. Eve will always be their favorite child.
Either way, regardless of the exact ratio of those second two numbers, I'm pretty sure that, if/when Legion is released, Dust will officially be dead and buried (if not sooner). |

They HAVE the money, they just don't want to spend it on THIS game. |

True, but I wouldn't want to see anyone get the false impression that any money they spend might go towards improving Dust, when CCP is just going to channel it into one of their other projects.
Somebody needs to be up-front and honest about this. After all, some of these newer people weren't around for Fanfest, and some others who were might need to be reminded of the reality of the situation.
People are already asking when there will be new maps/content! |

If you really want to give your money away, give it to someone who actually needs/deserves it, like a charity. |

No, it means that some people are just suckers who cling to false hope, and will continue to give CCP their money even when they should know better!
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
