Who is this "infantry" you keep referring to?
The only ones I saw complaining about this were tankers and Python pilots. I also think this has been discussed before and it is an overheating issue, not a ROF issue.

Infantry complained about the Python, and CCP decided to nerf both ships.

If you get 2 high skilled pilots in the same ship the gunner will get like 5 shots. The skill is 2.5 mil and it punishes you for gunning. |

Just because in you're in the vehicle doesn't mean you're the pilot. Quite similar to how the mcru deactivates if the pilot moves out of the seat.

What do you mean? That completely breaks gunning in an ads if you have any incubus skills.Also turret proficiency skill still doesnt work and thats also a 2 mil skill. So 4 mil in a single turret and you get no benefit, its better to not have any skills at all. |

Yeah, the only people who wanted their bonus removed were Python users and tankers.
AV guys don't give a damn about small rails and blasters on a ADS.

Insta fail right there. ADS skill bonuses apply even if there is no pilot. It is actually a punishment for speccing into the gal. ADS now cause CCP decided to give the ADS skillbook a hidden negative effect. And that is +3% heat build up per lvl so that the turret increase of rate of fire matches. Its a dirty move if you ask me. Like if the ROF nerf and increased heat build up wasnt bad enough no they aswell add negative effects to a skill.
Bright is the opposite of dark! Who would have thought of that?!
