With a damage mod, Gallente Commando and proficiency I can:
LAV - 1 shot Python - 2 shots Shield Tank - 3 shots Hardened Gunlogi - 4 shots Madrugar - 4 shots
The two shot Plasma Cannon has such a short fire interval that vehicles have very little time to react. With all the damage stacking the GMK does around 2300 damage to shield. Vehicles running shield hardeners are rendered useless if you catch them off guard because a shield hardened vehicle with depleted shield is effectively doomed. |

Oh boy, I smell death in the air. But to tank drivers I lower my hat to my chest as I am at a tank funeral. Reducing my tanks that I do business with to shrapnel.

My thoughts on that mass driver: I'm sure there must have been some testing that convinced the devs to keep it simple and low damage due to it's range and radius when compared to the DPS and pure damage output increases of all the other more line-of-sight weapons, but the result is a weapon with no flash or appeal. It could be made appealing with more damage or firing rate of course, but it could also be made more interesting by utilizing the other stats.
We already have a weapon that's high rate of fire and large radius, and also one that's slow rate of fire with low radius and high direct damage. We could shuffle those stats a bit at least.
I should address the large max ammo increase before I dismiss it entirely of course. The way I use it I just don't need it. It should help make it better to use offensively, as an assault weapon, but it will still be a poor weapon to use offensively simply because it's a mass driver. It makes a better support weapon as an assault mass driver or as a defensive weapon, were I always have access to a hive or supply depot. I have just never needed ammo, despite ammo being one of it's supposed shortfalls, which means this weapon will mean very little to me because max ammo capacity is all it brings. I suspect a specialist MD will have more to offer with the MD's high fitting requirements.
I believe I might be speaking for some of the logis here mostly. I imagine some min commandos might find this weapon much more appealing.
