They use to be so bad, that CCP actually nerfed the damage caused by LAV's running into you. Friendly tanks use to be able to run into you and drag you all over the map. No way to get out of it until the tank stopped.

Murder taxi use to be 100 times worse. No joke. There was a corporation that was dedicated to Murder Taxi.

Someone with a stuck tank got out to shoot me after a few slashes with my knives. I don't know what he was using, but it definitely wasn't an HMG. I got 2 more sets of slashes off while he was shooting at me, turned and slashed, him, then proceeded to slice up his tank (my first as a knifer). All in 300ish HP. Dude was a seriously bad shot. I don't even bother shooting at you with my tank - I hop out to fight. Tank just makes sure I get to point A to point B - and the proto rail makes sure other tanks get out of my way - the 6500 shield HP is helpful too :3

I have decided to run heavy hmg combo in my missile tank because CCP doesn't understand how a weapon should work. I have aimed at FGers every sort of way and not hit them at all despite one shotting a running player with anything other than an FG. I'm thinking it's an intended feature to protect FGers because they have b*tched the loudest. THIS IS THE VOICE OF RÁN
