A new software defense patch arrived in all dropsuit manufacturers allowing shield and armor oscillations to pick up incoming sniper rounds beyond 400 meters. Suits can now react fast enough to arrange shielding and armor plating in a manner to completely deflect the round rendering it null and ineffective. This software update nearly is game changing as the new digital fortress electronic series given to eve starships that disallows viable engagements beyond 250 kms being feasible.
While caldari arms manufacturing are trying a way to circumvent issue they have redesigned tractory calculations and shell design to impact much more force if they hit. Net gains of increased energy departure allows rounds to snap clone soldiers necks with greater ease even if the round itself does not penetrate. However in their mad lapse to complete and distribute the software rival arms manufacturers stole lines of the code involving the impactor calculations and have now applied them to their side arms. When NOH news division was interviewing top Ishukone Weapons RnD he had this to say about it.
"We weren't surprised that technologies our own capsuleers would be using to discourage wasting ammo at extreme ranges would be quickly applied to the dropsuits since both of these devices are very capable for utilizing soldier's brains as a massive subconscious quantum calculator.

Shooting vulnerable points on drop suits have so far returned very satisfying results with 95.6% total annihilation of the target. The remaining 4.3% being a soft mission kill or incapacitation.

Amarr Certified News released an article detailing the recent changes from Imperial Arms to their scrambler pistol line-up.

While the man interviewed remain anonymous the Theology Council has released a statement today into investigating the source of this information. The council seeks to press charges of blasphemy on the grounds of using minmatar thinking in designing weapons for imperial ways which is a clear violation that had in the past allowed a number of slaves to escape.
