I liked the Boltpistol as it appeared with Uprising 1.8. I thought "Wow, a pistol that shoots projectils with hihgspeed. It has to charge but who cares. The damage it deals is 150 HP".
So I used it often and liked it very much as it was. But now it is even in my eyes OP.
I could understand if CCP increased it to 180. But seriously....
From 150 to 229? I really hope it is a mistake. Or else there will follow posts from other players saying the Boltpistol is overpowered. |

It is pointless to compare the Boltpistol with the SMG. The Boltpistol is from mid, far and close range absolutely deadly.
Do not tell me it has to charge and because of the time it has to charge it is less dangerous.
I tried a fitting with boltpistol and I killed assaults, no matter if caldari minmatar or shield based or armor based, with one clip.
I am no veteran player I am just an average player and had more kills than usual.
The charge time does not matter because, if you have a scout, caldari , it is easy to see the enemy before he can see you.
So you can shoot from behind. With a headshot you get a 1 hit kill.
I also killed a assault from mid range with two shots.
The only method to evade the boltpistol easy is to hide or you get support. It was even easier for me to kill enemys when they were
jumping around. |

If you would read closely before you post it would help a lot.
I did not shot noobs. I killed average players most of the times. |
