I already spent over a mil on hacking 5. I have 1,988.000 left. Here are my options.
- Forge Gun reload from 4 to 5: 466,300 SP
- Forge Gun ammo from 4 to 5: 466,300 SP
- Sniper Rifle Operation 4 to 5: 310,920 SP
- Shotgun operation from 3 to 5: 174,120 SP
- Shotgun ammo and reload are both at zero.
- Gallente Scout dropsuits from 3 to 5: 1.9 mil SP
- Gallente Scout from 3 to 4: 696,490 SP
- Precision enhancement 3 to 5: 261,180 SP
- Range amplification 3 to 5: 261,180 SP
I really wish I could spend it on Gallente Assault, but it is not meant to be. |

even if you dont use proto suits the buff to cloak fit and scan damp make this very nice
hmm yeah good point. then i could even go advanced cloak after that. |

Thor Odinson42 wrote:I'd say take the Scout to L5, it's the hardest thing to save SP, especially as a lower SP player. Then I'd work on the scanning skills, Biotics if you don't have them up yet, then your SG.
Although it's debateable IMO about the other scanning skills on your Gal Scout. I think you'll find success on the Gal Scout leaving them at 3 (assuming Damp is already at L5)
this is a forum alt. i have almost 37 mil now. but your right it will be a pain in the ass if i dont go proto now. then i could easily grab a pro shotty especially if i cap out today before the omega booster runs out.
no ive looked at the numbers before i even picked gal scout and it's definitely worth it to get them all to 5. precision 5 gets the minjas and amarr even if they dampen, and gets the gallente and caldari who don't. even range is important because then you can get the most out of one low slot, and have room for a ferroscale or kin cat.
hey does anyone know if you need the proto cloak to be invisible as gal scout with 2 damps? or is advanced fine? |

Yeah I already spent it all on level 5 scout. Thanks for your input guys.
I think I've decided to take my sniper rifle up to 5 next, since a dampened scout is a perfect sniper even with the range nerf coming.
I love sniping in Destiny and I have an exotic rifle. I always used to hate it in Dust but now that I've been reminded how much fun it can be, I want to give it a go in Dust. This battle I was just in they were rushing Delta from the Alpha bridge point, and I realized it would be a good idea to pull out the sniper. Worked like a charm. |

no it was always 2 damps with advanced cloak. thanks for clearing that up.
being a gal logi myself i'd say anything more than 2 damps with basic cloak is just a safeguard. i mean to be honest nobody runs focused scanner in pubs. youd be just as well off without the adv cloak.
but i will get it eventually just to stay cloaked longer |

Never thought about it that way. Still, it would annoy me having to use two different fittings, one for range amps and another for profile damps. And having range with no precision is also pretty bad, that's why I didn't pick Cal scout.
I really like the new Gal precision. It gives me that peace of mind that I don't have to worry that some invisible scout is near me unless he's actually using the right modules to counter me. |

One Eyed King wrote:Gal scout 3 to 4 (4 gives enough of a bonus to cloak to make it viable)
Then range and precision.
This will give you enough flexibility for scouting purposes.
A lot of scouts don't dampen enough, and if you throw on one or two complex precision enhancers, you have yourself a decent pub scout hunting fit.
i sincerely doubt i will ever go without 2 complex damps.
the only time i might would be if i wanted to run some ferroscales with range and precision, for some crazy reason
or if i'm running biotics with codebreakers or something.
So what's FOTM?
