Im surprised no one else uses it that much, Its great! After the accuracy buff, it is by far the highest DPS weapon in the game. Not even the Six Kin BHMG, or the 20 GJ Particle cannon come even close. They round out at 1387, and 1950 DPS respectively at optimal range and conditions without damage mods. The ion blaster has 4000 DPS with ADS 5 and GADS 5!

You mind Messaging me a Fit or posting it right here ? I've constantly tried the optimal fit for the Blaster but I could never manage to do it. You also get no " Damage Points " for vehicles

If you're talking about the Incubus itself, I will answer that question with a question:
How are the Gallente supposed to tank?
other than that, theres no real '"one size fits all". keep going until you find the right fit or you run out of isk.

Its actually pretty good against Pythons, Myrons/Vipers(to an extent) and Onikumas/Sagas. It does no real damage against HAVs though.

I mainly have the problem that I practically have to land on people to hit them with it.

Yeah right. And you need to be very close to the enemy to actually use it while with small rails i can keep distance and see swarm launchers or forgegunners. And not have to do OMFG I NEED TO GTFO NOW stunt when using small blasters. But meh once they add splash to it its game over and people will die instantly and faster then compared to small rails.
They say when you die you see a white light which then forms the line of:
"GAME OVER! PLEASE INSERT COIN"

I just have terrible hit detection with that turret so I can't use it, even if I'm 5 meters away from my target and neither of us are moving, I can't kill the target in one clip. Even if I fire controlled bursts. And that's when I'm the gunner. It's even worse when I'm piloting and having to move constantly, the hit detection screws me over so much.

Once upon a time all I had to say was "I can land a dropship" to be lauded as an amazing pilot.
I don't even know how to use a missile ADS as effectively as some people these days, let alone try using a blaster with any semblance of accuracy. To those who have perfected the art of the pilot turret, I applaud you. I will forever be that other kind of pilot that needs gunners to do the aiming for him.

It's no different than flying littlebirds in battlefield. You can basically practice there and apply it here.
