If you will not have your mind changed on swarms, I beg you to at least add in a warning system that we are being locked. We cannot see the swarmers, and half the time we cannot even see the swarms themselves. If we at least know that someone is locking us, things would be so much better.

Just my opinion, but it would be like asking to let know when there is a scout with a shotgun behind you. Or like to know when you are being targeted by a sniper before (s)he shoots. It wouldnt be fair. Now, maybe (a big maybe) there could be a module you can fit in your vehicle that could let you know when you are being locked on, but still it wouldnt be something that I could think as useful, at least not if you have to sacrifice something else to fit, but then again, Im not someone who uses vehicles very well so I wouldnt really know if a module like that could actually be useful. |

Infantry and equipment on the rim of the structure are fine, but if it's in the middle, all you see is a flat surface. You get no target intel or red target reticule for anything that's there. Attempting to snipe a forge gunner or countersnipe a sniper on that roof is extremely difficult as all they have to do is throw rep hives down and back away from the rim where they're invisible and invincible to snipers specifically tasked with clearing that roof and keeping it clear.

Outdated? No. This is a game. In-game balance trumps some contrived sense of realism in an inherently unrealistic game genre.
If you want realism that is congruent with our modern technology (but extrapolated into a SciFi future), your time would be better served by playing a different game.

This needed to happen anyway. Much as I love making pilots scream the invisible swarms are unsporting. More to the point you can SEE a forge gun charging on the ground if you are looking the right way. Theres a ten meter strobe light circle centered on the forge. |

How about we just screw all that and just make tanks as strong as they should be. So that AV is not the go to tank killer of the game. Forcing people to stop specing into the proto rail rifles and combat rifles and go into vehicles of their own. I know that sounds unfair that people should have to combat tanks with their own tanks but that's like every game ever.

I was thinking showing them on the map would be nice, but that would be a bit harsh to the [insert nicer name than I can think of here] swarmers... So what about making the ******* glow bright red (and on the map) but only when you have a scanner going, scanner could use a nice bonus like that. |
