I've watched some of his videos, and some of his counter videos about DUST players who have responded to him. I think maybe he just has a hard time playing a making a point at the same time? He generally seems to pull his opinions from out of nowhere from left field, while also managing to not kill anyone to validate them.

It's not actually that bad. I do something similar, though I usually keep a small number of fits stocked on everything. It lets you play how you want most of the time without ever really having to grind for SP in super cheap suits. You just use what you can afford and try not to go Isk negative in most battles, every once and awhile cutting loose and spending as much as you can.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

I havent been broke in so long I cant imagine what it would feel like to have to budget my suits lol. Not to mention I have max fittings set up between scout, logi, assault, heavy and commando + evey gun in the game....except sniper rifles. Kinda makes me regret not being more active in PC.

Why not just make suit fittings of multiple tiers that are otherwise similar in intended function? For example, I have a Templar assault BPO with Templar LR, Assault A/1 with ELM-7 LR, and ak.0 with Viziam. I choose the appropriate one based on what's going on at the time. Same with my logi suits. I guess that gives me less overall breadth but certainly makes ISK management simpler for someone like me who is squarely in the middle class of Dust without a big hoard of ill-gotten PC money.
On the rare occasions I do run out of something actually in the middle of a fight it drives me f*cking crazy... I even get super annoyed when I have to restock if it's only delaying my squad moving on to the next battle so I always have at least 100 of each fitting stocked (since that's the max amount you can buy at once) .

He actually makes sense. All you guys had me thinking he was an idiot, but after listening to him, I disagree with you. Pretty much everything he says makes sense to me.
The only things that annoy me are how he uses grenades and hmgs to take out Uplinks when he could just melee them, and how he complains that his ammo didn't reload, when he clearly started sprinting basically halfway through the reload animation...

Yes heavy dropsuits were nerfed this past update, but no they are NOT harder to use than ever before....same with the HMG.
Misuse of the word "overpowered" when in fact he means powerful enough to pay off
The concept of using "skill" with an HMG and with nova knives is different, the skill involved with knives IS effectively positioning yourself to stab someone in the back or flank for maximum effectiveness..and if you manage to stab them in the face, bonus.
He ALMOST made a good point about awareness, except that in an FPS awareness of the battlefield IS a skill you learn, and timing your attack to best utilize that awareness is also.
Not sure about the reload tirade the video was a bit funky there
He always blames things that the game is doing, as if players are specifically doing it TO him to make him die, or lose, or steal his kills etc. when in reality its just the buggy ass mechanics of DUST.
It's almost as if he doesnt understand superlative speech or even hyperbole, he may be a very literal minded person *shrug*

The reason he is sprinting part way through reload is because that's how u cut it short only he is doing it to soon..scrub..how long has he been playing this game? Yet he still doesn't have the timing straight on the sprint to reload faster ..that's kinda the definition of scrub. Dudes so bad he fails at speed reloading lol..

Neither the Standard HMG nor the Nova Knife is OP right now. Ok, the Burst HMG might be a bit OP, but a 10% damage nerf will straighten that out in Delta.
The Nova Knife and the Shotgun are the direct counter to Sentinels. Their main job in the game is to kill Sentinels. The skill involved is to get close enough to use them. A Sentinel just has to be observant, and know if they die to one that they were killed by their hard counter.
Cloaks are a buff to Sentinels, if you have a high res TV and an eye for detail. Cloaked Scouts donGÇÖt strafe and thus are way easier to kill than non cloaked Scouts who insist on jumping all over the place like popping corn in the microwave.
I found the heat buildup nerf to the Standard HMG to be hardly noticeable. That nerf really should not effect a skilled player.
Now, on to lag. When you are facing some guy from the other side of the world and he is walking on air or teleporting back and forth, it is best to remember that you are probably skipping all over the place on his screen as well. The Japanese get a lot of flack for Lag exploiting, but the truth is they are just more used to playing under Lag conditions than those of us who live closer to the servers we play on.
Lastly, I have a different method for handling my public image. I claim to GÇ£SuckGÇ¥ so my GÇ£HatersGÇ¥ can either agree with me, or make whiled claims about how skilled I am. Either way, it works for me.
