And anyway, I only send 'the message' to give both me and the recipient some entertainment. Most people seem to enjoy getting 'hatemail' - I know I do and several people have said so in this thread. But if some people dislike the message I guess I'll have to stop spreading the love  |

I can't do anything but agree with you. However that being said I do think apart from America's lack of regulation with guns, American culture is pretty toxic anyway.
It is still possible for someone like me to apply for a firearms licence its just almost impossible joining a gun club or shooting range these days to get the permit to aquire the firearm.
I would kinda just like to plink away at things. I suppose there are air rifles for that.... I dont know. Yea as much as the UK has its problems, I am proud and happy to be English <3 It could be a lot worse.

Imagine a day where you find out your Government was performing genocide/mass murders on its own people.
How would you defend yourself if you had no weapons ?
That's what sets the US apart from everyone else. Yes we have the problems of people shooting/killling each other, but you can rest assured, if the crap ever hit the fan here in states, the population COULD rise up and stop that nonsense cold. I have heard a rumor that if everyone just in the state of MICHIGAN with a weapon was to form a militia, it would be like the 5th largest standing army in the world.
I can only imagine what the southern states would be like if that would happen.

On my phone so no links but you should check out non lethal violent crime between us and UK. We might kill eachother more, but the assaults, sexual assaults, robberies and thefts are lower per capita in the US.
