Regarding the message 'no gungame scrub'

It means that you are (1) using a tactic that doesn't require gungame, and (2) not even doing it well. There is more. I do not type the message myself. All I do is select 'n' then select 'right' a few times. The PS3 fills out the rest. So it isn't me writing the message to you. It is the PS3. Think about that. This message is not from a third party, it comes direct from Sony. It has the official stamp of approval. Kaz Hirai himself is calling you a no gungame scrub.

True, I've got in a tank a few times, and am very bad at it. In those circumstances I'd have no complaint with receiving a message along these lines.

I was first on the killboard, by far the most kills and WP on my team, and killed u with shotgun or REs several times (not mentioned on your pathetic list) in match a few weeks ago. You were running Burst Six Kin HMG...and all Proto. After the match you sent me your ridiculous message. Later on you replied "at least Burst HMG involves gun game" ... i had to laugh hard. I remember this cuz I only hardly get hate mail, and if, it's some so called, self-proclaimed "vets" like you or complete scrubs sending some. Good players send messages full of appreciation :) o7 P.S.: can provide pics if needed Correct, I should have put REs on the list - I've added it. You may have been top of your team but you went something like 15-13 (not sure of exact number but definitely kills and deaths were both in the teens), mostly standing on a roof dropping REs down. You have to admit that's a pretty bad score for such a tactic. Hence the message. I think I went 30-3, using Six Kin BHMG and ACR. In our exchange afterwards, I said something like 'at least BHMG is a gun, hence gungame :)'. This was intended to be a lighthearted acknowledgement of the fact that I was using a slightly OP gun. I'm sorry you didn't take it that way. I should also point out that, if you're a heavy at the moment, you HAVE to use the BMHG. Otherwise you'll die the instant you come up against a red BHMG. What am I supposed to do, leave my Gallente sentinel and proficiency 5 HMG to rot until they nerf the BHMG? Anyway, to repeat, it was intended lightheartedly. I would've thought the OP would make it clear that I am not totally SRS about this message (though Kaz is ).

But yes we live in a country where even our athletes that compete in shooting sports have had so much trouble just trying to practice. Gun crime is nothing in the UK compared to the US. 0.04 gun-related homicides per 100,000 in the UK versus 3.60 in the US. The overall homicide rate is 1 per 100,000 in the UK versus 4.7 in the US. Believe me we are a lot safer without guns in the UK than we would be with them. This is not to say that the US should immediately ban all guns. Maybe that would make matters worse since there are so many in circulation among criminals there. But it does say that if you don't have guns in circulation in your country in significant numbers, the last thing you want to do is change that. Your people will pay for it with their blood.

Sniper Rifle maybe, although it is more likely that you just were not moving erratically enough or did not make proper use of cover. Usually it is only the Snipers who have Gun Game who cause me trouble. Assault Dropships have a very high skill floor. I can pilot a dropship, but I can`t hit the broad side of a bard with an Assault Dropship. So anyone who kills you will an Assault Dropship is either skilled, or very lucky. Standard Dropships, maybe, but you do realize that you can shoot the gunner out of a Dropship right? Tanks, sure, you can make that argument. LAV, well, it is not so easy to get a kill with a LAV these days. A guy hit me at full speed while I was standing inside a box last night. That took mad skill! But, I agree that it does not represent Gun Game. I am really surprised that you did not include Remote Explosives, as they technically do not involve Gun Game. This is mostly a fair assessment (and I've added REs to the list). I would only say: 1. I move erratically and use cover pretty well, but as ground pounding infantry you do die to snipers every so often, it's just a fact of life. 2. To be GOOD in an ADS does take a lot of skill. But I don't send those guys hatemail (Derrith is even QQing about that lol). ADS players may on the whole have a slightly higher skill level than other roles, but there are still bad ADS players, like there are bad players in every role.
