I heard someone say Nova Knives were OP... it might be true? Or nah?
I don't use OP weapons, I AM OP.

Yeah, when it's nerfed to oblivion. With CCP, 'Rebalancing' means the same thing as 'Wish you didn't invest SP in it'

Aim adhesion is not even noticeable, possibly not even effective, which is fine because the small bit of range increase plus the reduced time between a trigger pull an actual swipe were sufficient. It still takes a lot of skill to use, and moving targets are still hard to get.
Yeah, that's true. Although certain people believe nova knives are OP, *cough cough King Thunderbolt* I still find em kind of UP. I saw a Scout Mk.0 running a crazy fit with super low Shields/armor where he could run around meleeing everyone down in one hit.

I hear this crap bandied about the forums all the time. If anything heavies (by which I mean sentinels) are a counter to scouts, not the other way around. That said, this is not generally a game of hard counters. Scouts can kill heavies, heavies can kill scouts.
I say heavies are a counter to scouts because they have the hp to absorb alpha strikes, and they have supreme cqc firepower, which is where scouts generally operate. Also, the time it takes to kill a heavy makes assassination difficult. A protracted fight leaves scout vulnerable to enemies other than their chosen target. Heavies only weakness to scouts is that being slow makes it easier to run up behind them if they get left behind by their team.
Scouts are much more effective against medium frames that they can quickly dispatch and retreat before retaliation. Though the speed of assaults, mixed which decent hp can cause problems.
As I said, no strict counters.
Commandos have great flexibility, but as a result are not going to be as effective in close range engagements as scouts and sentinels who specialize in that area. Commandos, I always felt, were more suited to long range fighting, with the flexibility to be good at short range as well. They are similar to assaults.
Sentinels are mainly vulnerable to long range attacks. Commandos and assaults are much better than scouts at this. If anything is a sentinel counter it is commandos and assaults.
In my opinion, the best counter to scouts are logis. This is because they encourage tight squad play that locks out scout attacks. They can also pick up the pieces once the scout has been dispatched.
The best squad is 2 heavies, 2 logis, 1 assault/medium frame, and 1 calscout/scanner.
