Anyone know the longest distance it can shoot?
http://imgur.com/UaGOFCd I was testing it and this is my max so far.. Can't wait for that range nerf

The biggest element of Thale's extended range isn't it's maximum bullet range, but that enhanced zoom capability that makes it far easier to hit things at extended range.

What's OP about a weapon that allows you to kill from beyond the range of anything but the same weapon? 
I can kill burst hmg sentinels and cloaked scouts with everything but swarm launchers, av and flux grenades.

Wait... I killed someone with a swarm once, he was standing on the same side of the blaster Instalation I was destroying. Splash damage casualty I think

Longest I.have been killed at is 598m. In other words, fu cking deep as sh it in the red line....

That reminds of the time I fired a swarm at an LAV and all the missiles converged on the poor bastard in the turret seat. Didn't even damage the LAV.

This is the range on all sniper rifles,
until delta anyway.
the weapon is certainly not op.
snipers are supposed to be long range,
but mostly they are not op, when they they are so bloody weak.
still, i'm sure we'll chat again about op sniper rifles/techniques in delta.
probably because they come into the map and quick scope. |

The rifle 1 shotting any suit that's not a heavy from nearly 600m away in my eyes is very OP. Yes snipers are meant for long range but seriously this range only makes redline sniping even worse.. Once again can't wait for the range nerf. Yes the other snipers need a DMG buff, Thales does not.

You mean sprinting with three complex kin cats on a scout for >40 sec straight at them (probly through and open vally) just to get in killing range with every other light weapon is to far away?
