I've only read about them in books. The ones with proto gal logi. Right now they are only worth using on those suits, which is CCP's fault for messing that up. Anyone outside of 10 m will kill you and not even have to worry about taking much damage. You should at least create a fit that has a CR if you really want to knife, or a ScP if you really want to use a shotgun. You can always tell a Millford Minja

During the spring I had an ADV Scanner on the Logi ALT. It elicited some chuckles from people. Great for checking buildings or remote structures for Heavies & Medium Frames. Considering how much more WP valuable Uplinks are those fits were deleted. If I ever were to run Proto it would contend for the third or fourth Equipment slot. It's counterproductive and creates skill point sinks by only having items with one application and not multiple purposes for usage . Delta should come with a SP or infantry SP refund so that a campaign for one is not needed .

They had to use dampening then though instead of cloaks. Now they just tank and cloak. I can pick them up if I'm a scout, but nothing else. With that logic we should all be scouts. If I'm assault I have to take the first shotgun to the back every time because I can't see them. I'm at a disadvantage every time. If he's tanked with no damp he should be scanned. If he's cloaked got it I'm not arguing with that, but un-cloaked with no damp he needs to be scanned. Since we're apparently talking about scanning now. I was referring to the ones that head on assault you like an assault player. You haven't seen those NEW scouts? They don't know what pre 1.8 looks like. They just know scouts are beast and fast. Those guys just stack tank, and run assault.... and they win because of the regen. Assaults can't compete. What about that? "Anybody order chaos?"

Once a scout is strafing, he is instantly the favorite against all other suits (except the heavy) in CQC. 2. Scouts should not be better at assaulting then assault suits/frames. 3. Scouts should not be able to "One hit kill" medium suits (Except with Nova knives) given that due to their Ewar/cloak advantage, it's easy for them to get the first shot in. You might be tired of the QQ on the forums, but if you ran a medium suit most of the time, you would be crying for change too. How do you kill that which has no life?

While my scans are only shared with my squad they aren't OP compared to passives and I am defenseless while doing it. Not saying that the 360 active scans weren't super OP cause they were, I chose to spec into gallogi for the bonus to scans. Seems that's the only way to pick up scouts without becoming one of them

I'm sure "You have been scanned" was burned into more than 1 TV though. Eventually we all learned to just ignore it.
