I sniped someone off the top of the MCC today who was sitting up there like an idiot. You can still shoot them even if they are on top. Is it douchebaggery to do this? yes. Should it be eliminated? Absolutely. But I don't necessarily know if I would call it cheating. You had a sniper out, why didn't you just pick him off his pretty little perch?

The MCC has an invisible ceiling that you must move to the edge of in order to hit anything. otherwise your just shooting the roof of the MCC. If he can hit you, you can hit him. The only advantage MCC confers, beyond an excellent sniping position, is that you can be fooled into thinking you can hit him, when really your hitting the MCC. Moving away from the MCC will allow you to hit him.

Cheating no. If the game lets you do it how is that cheating. I find sniping on the MCC very effective

Not cheating, head glitching, popping over the barrier just enough to shoot, but hidden just enough to not get sniped.
Now, if you recorded dropping an orb on him and watch him survive, that's evidence of cheating. This is just the mcc trolling you

Here's an idea take yo lazy butt with a DS or ADS and shoot that guy. Also you can't put Links on the MCC only hives

*fails to get counter-snipe due to bad positioning and glitchy MCC collision detection*
"H-He's cheating! He's exploiting! He should be banned! How dare he position himself advantageously so that I can't hit him!"

Interestingly enough, in one of your screenshots it clearly shows that you have a clear line of fire, and in the others the sniper rifle is clearly telling you that you are going to hit the MCC (bottom right corner...).
So is the sniper cheating? Or are you just ignorant, and not paying attention to the target data?

Even if you did hit him, you'd have over 1400 HP to chew through. The guy is running a Sentinel. That also means, he likely has no equipment or support, on the MCC with him.

Why the hell were you so fixated on this noob? He probably would have run out of ammo in a minute or two anyway.

I tried yesterday. He had a Sentinel suit and a Thale's. I had a 511. I couldn't get my hits to register for the first 10 shots. Then I finally moved to a position where the hit registered and I squezed off three quick shots. He then OHK me. I could have gone back and risked a Thale's myself but why would I?

"Cheating" is such a vague term. Care to explain a little more as to what you mean by that? It's impossible to "cheat" or "hack" Dust and I'm pretty damn sure I've covered this countless times before. Stop using lolcheating as an excuse for your lack of skill/whatever you need.

Don't try to boast on the forums about your skills when there's picture proof in this thread that you're in fact a really bad player, you dumb dildo.

If you look at the bottom right corner of picture 2, when the OP actually aims at the guy, it pulls up the MCC sniper's data, meaning (to my knowledge) that he could have shot the guy, but instead came here and whined. Granted MCC sniping is stupid, but you still could have killed him.
