It's not just the HMG LAV thing, maps are totally infested with hit and run LAV drivers now, who just try to run people over all game. It's an absolutely ridiculous thing to have in an FPS. I think the solution is to make LAVs vulnerable to small arms fire. Half a clip of AR should be sufficient put an LAV into the 'on fire, jump out now or die' stage.

You shouldn't have to do a specific counter to such scrubiness, that then makes it a legitimate tactic. Running the enemy over in a jeep is not and never has been a widespread battlefield tactic, for the simple reason that you'd instantly get chewed up by small arms fire. It's only Dust's crazy logic that means a super fast, super light, super cheap vehicle can circle squads of infantry indefinitely without serious risk of injury unless they happened to bring full blown anti-tank weapons.
