Why can't the same rule as applies to vehicles be applied to uplinks and nanohives- there's a limit on how many can be active in the game at any one time.
Or have the option to recall your uplink, with each player having a limit on how many they can deploy at once, depending on how much they've levelled up? I.e. None for level 0, and 5 for level 5 or something? Being able to recall uplinks would help with people camping on them too, or uplinks that make you fall through the map/get stuck between a rock and a hard place and having to commit suicide or wait til the enemy hunt you down and kill you.
The last battle I was in was spammed so much with red uplinks and nanohives that I couldn't play due to the lag, my whole squad had to leave the game because it was just unplayable.
I also played a battle where the middle of the map was so covered in uplinks, that you couldn't see the map at all when selecting a deployment location. |

That isn't enjoyable! When I've found a good position to snipe from, I'll leave an uplink a little way away from it so that if I run out of ammo and die on my way to a supply depot, or someone spots me, I can spawn back in the same area. Quite often, nobody uses my uplinks because they're in obscure places that most people won't want to spawn at.
Or if a team is being redlined, but someone's managed to hide an uplink further afield, and dies without it being spotted, the team's back to square 1.
Limiting uplinks for each player or team would be much better, or limiting the number within an area.
You can't put an uplink on top of a CRU, can't that shield (or whatever it is) be extended so that you can't put uplinks or nanohives on/under/right beside CRUs and supply depots? |

It's easy if you're a sniper... I love when there's reds on 'Suicide Tower'. I'd never get 13 kills so quickly with my sniper rifle if people couldn't get up high. It gives me a purpose in life |
