They are doing better than they ever were but there are two minor issues I wanna point out.
They have the same amount of armor as the cal scout, minny scouts should have a little more. Raise the base armor of the minny scout by 10 to a total of 80
[*]The gal scout has a base pg of 74, where as the minny scout has 62. I don't know who's idea it was to have such a gap exist but it is limiting the minny scouts capabilities quite severely compared to the gal scout. I'd say raising the minny scouts base pg by 4 should be a good tweak.[\*] |

I don't want more armour if it means I'm slower though. But yes, I totally agree about the pg, those kincats are very pg heavy!

Sure, so long as the speed differential between cal and min is also reduced. |

Technically, their shields and armor should be somewhat close since they're dual tankers.
If you increase base armor, base shields should be decreased.
As for the PG... yes, please! |

If ccp took that approach it would be a direct buff to everyone who likes to run kin cats, especially all of the scouts. The 12 point pg gap I mentioned would still be a balance issue. |

Your first suggestion is terrible
Im assuming you're one of "those" min scouts who armor tank and use precisions or damage mods
Second suggestion is great, the PG has gotten better but needs to be upgraded by an amount that a maxed out fit with an ADV cloak now with 81/81 can fit a proto cloak with 81/81
Finally, I want to reiterate that the minmitar scout is in such a good place right now because of the lack of gal-logis and am-scouts.
Once more players start skilling these, (as they already are), the min scout will begin to underperform yet again, as it won't be able to maintain a high enough sprint speed while remaining under scans to knife, or won't be able to hack points fast enough.
Overall, right now they are in a very good place, but id like to see some general scout eWAR rebalancing
"Minmitar Scout" and "Masochist" are synonyms.

Minmatar are dual tankers generally, and yes I run a reactive plate with 3 shield extenders. I just find it depressing that a dual tanking racial suit has the same base armor as a shield tanking racial suit. I went for the shield nerf to go along with the armor buff to bring them closer in value while simultaneously shutting up any cal scouts whining for a sprint speed buff *cough* guy up there *cough* |

As for the PG... yes, please! Sounds fair, I'll add that in Edit: nvm it's too shield poor to begin with to do that Exactly. However, you fail to see why it wouldn't matter much. Chances are, if you're seen, you're dead in a Minmatar Scout anyways.
150 shields/90 armor doesn't seem so bad. I just shifted 20 shield points over to armor. Thing is, though, you can't regen armor innately, so that's why shields are preferred.
Hit Points on a Minmatar Scout can easily be justified in my dual tank theory as well as leaving it as is, but I think more people will favor shields over armor (I do, as well). |

I love my min scout but were taking a break since the suit respec so I only skilled it to 3 and protod all other scouts and now I'm working on min scout and min ASSAULT to 5 and lol I nova knife in my assault just as well with almost 600 ehp and still run just as fast with a passive armor rep and shield energizers and regulators and a proto gun.
The min scout is horrible to fit and my other scouts knife just fine with better fittings and basically the ONLY reason I'm slowly unlocking 5 is because I have over 15 million isk tied up in proto suits I can't use, from before 1. 8
It is a dual tank fit shield/biotic and needs a large amount of cpu/pg
Yes, you just got rocked by a guy with a BOLT PISTOL and a pair of knives! !
