The sea of crap is quite an anomaly, staying afloat justified to see exactly what else is in there floating with you.

I don't register kills or hits. Then at random I'll fire far away into a crowd blindly and get three kills. I even hit a cal scout three times and the last shot as he was right in front of me and it didn't register (Cal scout hit det broken). Brick tanking a scout suit since April 2013!

Against skilled players, It requires you to almost always be in RIfle optimal range to get the most out of it, and Rifles obviously Out-DPS you by a wide margin. This means that you have to be in a situation where your opponent is worried about something else more dangerous than you, which is why it gets its "support weapon" title. It can work, but it needs support and positioning and a constant ammo supply. And to be completely honest, you're probably better off just using a Rifle, especially if you're a solo player.
