Hi everybody!
I've been playing the whole day today, done maaany games, and on absolutely every games there was a bunch of scouts throwing remote everywhere having free kill. The problem is that the time before you can actually make the standard remote explode (it was ALWAYS a standard one) is supposed to be 4.0 sec (according to hotfix bravo spreadsheet - tweaks section) and those people weren't waiting more than 1-2 sec!
That's what's always happening:
1- A scout jump out of nowhere, 2- He throws a remote from a ridiculous range, 3- He quickly jumps while throwing the remote so at the moment it hits the ground, the remote had explode and everybody's dead..
There's maybe a tweak about jumping while throwing the remote cuz they always do this! Moreover, the radius of the explosion is also bugged, sometimes it kills me while I'm 15 meters away..
Why not simply remove damage against infantry as long as the remote isn't at 3-4 meters arround a hardpoint? That would fix the problem!

.Are you telling here about Kill Report?
No man ^^ I know the kill report tells me where the player is at the moment I died, not the remote^^ I'm talking about the distance I am from a remote when it explode. I can't know precisely where it is but you know, you know when it's far and when it's on your feet ^^

3) This is a glitch that needs looked into.
From my experience as an RE user, it feels like the full 4 seconds for me. I am not able to detonate as soon as it hits the ground. However, I am also not carrying a mass driver or flaylock that may detonate the RE before the timer actually activates the RE.
1) Maybe, but that would mean there're lag absolutely all the time.. 2) I never really noticed that, but some may use this technique 3) Definitely. Maybe jumping makes the RE fall faster or idk what.. but I'm 100% sure that they weren't waiting 4 sec before detonating!

Not when you see the scout getting out of its cover jumping to throw the RE like a grenade and destroy you in half a second ^^

Ok I tried it today for the first time and understood what's wrong with RE's: the timer of 4 secs starts from the moment you throw the RE, not when it touchs the ground. So basically this timer is useless causethe RE will explode instantly .-. GG ccp.

What I tried to say is that the timer begins when you throw the remote, not when it actually reach the ground. I thought it was like: -throw the remote -reach the ground (timer starts) -wait 4 secs and BOUM!
But it's: -throw remote (timer starts), -even if it has just touched the ground, BOUM.
So basically the timer is useless.
