Counter sniping is one thing. Needing a specific item to kill someone because they're so deep into their redline a dropship can't even reach them in time is another. If the draw distance in this game was better, it wouldn't be so bad, but to kill the average Thale's sniper, you have to also use a Thale's to have any chance of finding them because they won't even render through the normal rifle scopes.
Nova Knives are best sidearm.

Snipers in redline are usless. You can't even see the person 350m out, you just gotta rely on the little arrow above their head and the way the new crosshairs are set up, you can't see what you're shooting and the person is smaller than the crosshairs 350m out. The zoom on the SR is set up for a weapon used within 150m
I don't usually pay much attention to distance when sniping and usually only bother doing it at all when counter sniping so I can't comment on the 350 meter bit, I just know I've found a few Thale's users so far out that they didn't render in my scopes, even though I knew exactly where they were. And yes, they were getting kills while being so far in the redline that I had to suicide in a dropship to kill them... wait, no. The one I'm thinking of, I couldn't even reach in a dropship with enough time to safely land and kill him.

Fix the Sniper rifle with a buff to damage and zoom, and I may leave the red line to start hunting. Though I for see to many cry babies to allow it to happen. Outer Heaven removed the redline? wtf are you talking about? Are you KingThunderbolts alt? I'm going to ask CCP to create a BPO vehicle for you. A shortbus BPO to get out of that redline..
I think he means the use of ADS dropships by O.H. has made it impossible to snipe safely in the redline.
