sometimes when I look at someones Dropsuit on Dust, it comes up with the name of the suit saying, Invalid String and then a bunch of numbers. What does this mean??? |

for me i see caldari proto scouts as standard when you aim in them
if they kill you it says proto ond if you die by them it says proto |

Next you're going to say you just realized that all the heavy frames have the wrong colors at advanced and proto. Yeah, a bug that refers to your suit as Invalid String, would be less of a priority then them fixing all the other stuff in the game. Though, every time I come across the bug, it makes me fell like someone is hacking the game. LOL |

That issues has actually been around since 1.7, it appeared on turrets back then.
It's barely an inconvenience when dropsuits are unique to each race and further color coded by meta level and role.
I'd much rather see Ambush spawn mechanics, an issue that's been a serious problem since before the RattiBro initiative started, be fixed before something that's superfluous visual display.

I understand why you have put this on the back burner, I'm just curious if Dust even has an art department any more. Seriously, 6 months and they can't even take one day to open the color palette?

Wow. Yea it seems to happen to commandos and heavy frames mostly. This bug has been in there since they launched them. Its been reported hundreds of times, did the last guy have a breakdown and just burn all the bug report logs Jimmi Hendrix style?
Oh and proto cal scout shows up as Std Scout incase that report went missing too. |
