love how the pilots and the drivers are the ones against this. Take the safety of the vehicle away.
They are OP and CCP you know this, stop letting them cry their way. You give in and give in now these fucks cant play without their mobile death machines.
They cried so hard when they got blown up, you nerfed the AV to the point of not having any AV. (less a forge gun that will do something, if not under a stupid bug that make the gun not work for the entire clip) |

The SL got a buff? Bullshit, everything can out run a missile. so what was the point of adding one more missile to shot if everyone can just out run them. You should have extended the range as well to 250m. The standard of 150m is bulshit. All an ADS has to do is go to the celling or fly away. Missiles do nothing.
RE's are nerfed cuz the Tankers cried that they got blown to hell. now before the nerf, RE's were good. Against just about everything. Then the babies got their way after being blown to hell.
But a knife can take out vehicles?
I do not care Vehicles cost you tons of ISK.
No where do I want Snipers to take down a tank, but just the driver. Same with ADS, the driver is too ******* safe.
Knifes require a lot of work to kill a vehicle with. Swarm launcher damage was standardized, and the lock range is 175m, the travel range is 400m. They work *very* well. Most tanks didn't care about RE's, it was how they were interacting with other infantry.
Killing the driver is the same as killing a vehicle, and if you don't want to use av weaponry to do that, you either shouldn't be able to or it should be so excessively difficult that it requires the person on the controls at the other end to either think they're Helen Keller, or to think they're playing Helen Keller simulator and even then it should *still* be hard. I have killed tanks with HMG's / Magsecs, it was incredibly difficult and required the assistance of other players.
If you don't want to skill into or use an appropriate tool for the job *don't ****ing whine that you can't do it*.

Maybe because 'the pilots' have a modicum of common sense? AV has gotten more lethal with every hotfix to the point where we're quickly approaching 1.6 levels of lethality again. The only person crying for their way here is you, and as said earlier, you are wrong and your opinion is terrible, uneducated and frankly ****ing idiotic.

this is bullshit everyone out runs my missiles. the lock on only happens at 150m, which is again bullshit. Swarms are crap and look at as a joke, not one vehicle runs when missiles are on the way. |

not true, ads pilots run so fast that they would humiliate the flash. seriously the only thing missing from their escape is a smoke bomb.
i wouldn't have a problem with skilled pilots being much harder to kill, but the problem is that they literally fly away to recharge their damage and go straight back to the same target, i.e the guy with the a.v weapon.
Because they know that the swarm launcher is ONLY a threat when they make a mistake. to say that an anti vehicle weapon is designed to chase away a vehicle is silly, to believe it is for making ads into lethal boomerangs is just plain stupid.
