Hey guys
So with Hotfix Charlie we trialed changing the sniper rifle crosshair. Please leave your feedback on the change in this thread.
Initial impressions point us to people not liking the change other than on the Tactical series of sniper rifles. At this stage, we would be looking to revert to the old crosshair on all sniper rifles other than the Tactical snipers, which would retain the new crosshair.

So uh, I decided to do a bit more messing around and I think I might have found our option C.
(I'll update the OP to include these)
So now here's the question. Keep the current one on any variants, use this new one on certain variants, or revert to the old one on some variants.
(For those wondering, the dot in the centre is smaller than the old dot, and the crosshair only lights up when the dot in the middle is over a target)

I'm still on board for selling multiple variants for each sniper rifle with the different reticles.
This would make EVERYONE HAPPY.
It's easy enough to push the extra lines on the crosshair further away from the dot. if that's a concern. Losing track of the dot on daytime maps is also a concern I have, but hopefully the extra lines should help point you to where it should be.

How about offering multiple variations of the guns for sale with each of the reticles?

Technically a possibility, but it would seriously clutter up the market. I'm fine with having different crosshair types for the different variants of sniper rifles (as they need to be different guns anyway) but adding different types just for the crosshair is something I'm not a real fan of doing.
On another note, how does this look? Like I was saying, I can push out the size a bit for the extra lines

No, the two can not be combined. It's one or the other.

No, the Thales is based off the standard Sniper Rifle. The Balac's Sniper is based off the Tactical variant.

We will be trying out this new scope for the long range rifles, but keeping the circle for the Tactical SR in Delta. Look forward to feedback after some extended trial period. Thanks everyone.
