You can have a lot of regen or armor, the Galassault has a lot of PG/CPU
Just take a look :
Calda : 402CPU 61PG
Gal : 380CPU 70PG
Result ?
Gal has less 22CPU for 9 PG
You can fit everything you want.
The bonus is good, I've tested it, and it's amazing, don't need to change it.
AssaultS are good, now just change the Caldassault bonus (charge time reduction +/or kick) and Assault bonus
Just from that comment about the bonus I can tell you never did any tests.

I can tell you : I've tested this bonus. Assault G/1 Series (but lvl5) with GEK-38 Assault Rifle full skill, we speak about the same thing ? Ok... To be serious, this bonus is good. the hipfire is a bit so much big, but the kick is amazing
You do understand that you can get rid of kick by just tapping the R1 button midfire?
You lose all the kick without losing any DPS, I already do it automatically at this point.

How is 10% more DPS OP but 600 more damage per clip/before overheat isn't?
The amarr and min bonuses are extremely powerful, so should the cal and gal bonuses be.
Consider that the AR has the second slowest reload speed of the rifles.
That means that the Min and Amarr bonuses allow them to sustain more fire, while the Gal ROF would allow it to unload its damage quickly and then reload while switching targets.
This fits perfectly with their behavior.
