Because each time you make a drastic change like suit load out - you screw over anyone who choose that suit. Remember, SP is suppose to matter, your choices define you character?
That's not how it is at all if you keep switching the purpose and design of the suits. Stop changing layouts based on your ******* pub data. I am quite sick of 2 years of wondering when my SP choices in this game will be completely meaningless because CCP decided to change layouts over bad players who refuse to adapt using the many choices available to them in this game.
And if you ARE going to do this **** to us at least give us some kind of retribution package for having our choices nullified and ruined. Because it drastically harms our enjoyment factor of this game.
And why 3 weeks? Because it takes Sony a week to process the changes CCP sends in - which means we have 2 weeks to talk with CCP about the changes they want to implement that will drastically effect our choices made thus far.

Since 1.8 I knew I would want the Amarr, it has not changed with a little rebalancing. Still the most awesome suit in the game.

2H/3L is a really good fit. I skilled into that slot layout so that I could easily use both the Forge Gun and the HMG on the same suit. Having my slot layout changed to only 1 high is pretty sad because my Amarr Sentinel is no longer the middle-ground suit I wanted it to be.
My choice wasn't based on RP reasons, it was based on what I wanted my suit to do.
Math is easy, you're just stupid.

You should've chosen Amarr for the 15% projectile resistance. I will admit that the 10% hybrid rail resistance should be switched to armor now that we can't even afford a shield extender, but I mean really?
We're getting EVEN MORE HP against HMGs now. What I really want to see is how Caldari were affected.

I chose the gallente in 1.8 because it was getting the 4/1 layout, i regret my decision now, since they randomly switched slots on us. |

Yeahhhhh, that too. RR resist really needs to move to armor.
My Cal Sent (check sig) is pretty screwed. It was already fitting starved. I really owuld like to be able to fit 2 complex shield rechargers and 2 compelx shield extenders on that, but that was a pipe dream pre-Charlie. lol.

As CCP cannot put out any new content for the game, and player interest will eventually fade without new content, there is a mandate to "remix" the game and change existing content as often as possible.
So basically, they hear you, but it doesn't matter because BusinessGäó is not the same as Game DesignGäó. |

Anytime someone tells you what choice you should have made is a bit of a fool.
At the time that I spent my SP, the Gal Sent had a real armor tanking layout, and two bonuses on its armor resistance. Even though I would have chosen Amarr given a more viable option, the Gal Sent was the obvious choice.
Now that suit has been shifted to Amarr, and I have been gifted the crappy Amarr slot layout that I didn't want in the first place.
Honestly, I saw that my sentinel suit had been so mucked with yesterday I just parked GBN. At least with TAG, I already know that my vehicles skills are worthless, and that CCP won't stop until vehicles are completely unfun.
The ground gameplay has always been bad in this game, so thanks for saving me from playing it CCP.

Yea this game is Alpha at best and yet they still continue to follow the EA way of making sure the that the AUR store is always updated and working while everything else is either broken, unbalanced or they try and fix something by breaking it/unbalancing it in someway |

There was 1 win, that I am certain off, the 10-20 losses we had made you sloppy that one time, it was a close fight though.
As far as M6 goes, nevermind him, he's had permanent PMS for 2 years it seems like.

They are catering to a special class of cry babies, who complain about everything every build... They choose Suit "X " and then they get annihilated by Suit "Y" user .... Then they come to the forums and Cry about Suit "Y" for the rest of the Build... Then CCP caters to their tears and then gives Suit "X" the Stats and Layout of Suit "Y"....
But the thing here is that, Suit "Y" user specced into Suit "Y" after reading the description, the same as Suit "X" user... But CCP just changes the roles of that suit to cater to the cry babies... Without any SP refund to Suit "Y" user... Not even a "Hey guys we are sorry, for writing the wrong description on the label, please HTFU"
SP IS SUPPOSED TO MEAN SOMETHING, CHOICES YOU MAKE ARE SUPPOSED TO MEAN SOMETHING...
But that's not the case though... Now it's becoming like COD where everyone has everything... Hell, i have everything i need, i doesn't affect me if CCP changed all my suits lol or weapons... But if a players First proto suit was a Cal scout or a Gal heavy ?! how are they supposed to survive now ?!

Dude, the only thing not relevant in this thread is any mention of (SI and IMPS) 2 things that no longer exist - but hey, you keep dreaming that you were anything other than carried.

We are never going to get respecs or probably even refunds again because CCP's design philosophy is "dealwithit.jpg." They're the angsty teen hipsters of the gaming industry and its no wonder their projects outside of Eve keep failing. They act like first year art students, big grandiose designs, then a fart and a meh and they give up. When Eve drys up I expect them to go the way of Midway. |
