If you want to be a known player you have to put it in the faces of the people who will share it. EB - no offense to them - isn't a corp that is going to enable players to stand out. They have to stand out themselves first. If EB won with any consistency against top corps - people would take notice and take note to whom is helping EB accomplish that. I like the EB guys I know ^_^

I like the EB guys I know ^_^ It's because we do the goddamn best we can with what we've got. To be honest we don't recruit enough, and we don't take it seriously enough. Trust me I know. But we've got a lot of laid back people that really don't care about being the most bloodthirsty corp in this game. The problem I have with "top corps" is the proto stomp. I mean occasionally I will bring people into a pub match in my squad and 2 or 3 of them will be running proto. But most of the people we roll with don't feel like wasting their ISK, and I don't blame them. We can kill you just as easily in our lower meta gear and it costs us less money. We just simply don't have the ISK to gamble OR the moral mentality for going into pubs and exploiting the game to make huge profits. If you want to practice for PC, do it in a goddamn FW match. There are some stacked teams in there sometimes you can face. And we have stood out, on numerous occasions. We helped show Escrow that they couldn't just sit there and tax corps on Planet Fight Club when we didn't want to be taxed. We forced them to take all those districts instead of "renting" them out to smaller corps. ***, I remember when Kain Spero showed up to one of our matches and heysupimpat killed him. If you don't think EB has stood out by now you'd be wrong. We just don't have the manpower and ISK power of corps who are always a presence in Molden Heath and hardly ever lose the majority of their districts. And to be honest... we're gonna lose people and activity to Destiny. We've just always been a small corp that thought big. Eternal Beings* - #76 in All Time WP - #90 in All Time Kills. EB hasn't stood out, when you say you gave ERA trouble, all you mean is you delayed what was bound to happen. Now, if EB had stopped ERA from taking districts completely, that would boost EB's rep - but without consistency that your corp has never shown, to me, you'll never be noticed. Sounds like you like your friends but not there drive - you're in the wrong corp with your ambitions. If I was still around with Anime Empire i would of picked you up for PC this very instant and gave ya a whirl - but it's painful to log on, lol. Your best bet right now is leave and join a top corp - there's just no other way. The only way to be noticed is by them, and they won't see you unless you play with or against them, which won't happen very often because your corp won't put themselves into that position with any regularity, because, like you said, lack of resources. So your only choice is to join them or there enemies who do fight them and get noticed.

I'd say it's about 6 hours of grinding. I usually do split that between the first 3 days, lol. You also have to remember PC SP payouts are bigger, I used to not need to play pubs at all - PC would cap me out each week. Good times.....

In other news, I just finished another match recently where a rail-fitted soma was wondering on its own looking all confused trying to find an invisible AV (me) trying to stab it to death.
