I'm a freelance Dev. Does that count?

i would like to take this opportunity to thank ccp for a free game that i really enjoy playing still

Imagine the Dust community is a person. And so is CCP. CCP and the Dust community are getting married. All CCP wants is dust happy. CCP presents Dust with good work, but dust continues to only point at the negatives in CCP's hard work. CCP looks at there work and then flashes back to Dust saying the work is trash. CCP says "its not good enough". Dust thinks CCP. Just said its not good enough right out of the blue. CCP was really quoting what Dust told him
CCP presents Dust with a new Project and Dust tells CCP its gonna be terrible even before CCP starts.

This describes what the dust community is doing to CCP. I imagine that CCP didn't just decide " Dust was an Epic fail". I imagine that CCP was just taking your word for it. I'll show you what I wanna see on the forums.

Maybe if your title wasn't "Dust is Epic fail" and more like "1 thing CCP could add" or "One thing I think will make the game better" it would make CCP want to view it.
Try looking at what CCP did good for once instead of telling them there work is trash.

That, is: Constructive Criticism. And it sickens me that 80% of the CCP community has no clue what this is. I'd hope this thread will change the community. And I'd hope that CCP agrees too.

CCP cancelled DUST

They made the decision to go to legion

They made the decision to go to legion live at fanfest and wheeled out IWS in a wheelchair hooked up to the forums to defend them to the hilt while they screwed over actual people who went to fanfest and those who paid money to watch a HD stream

CCP decided DUST wasnt good enough and are laser focused on pulling the plug

Community does what a community does best, complain that the product is **** and frankly its getting worse while CCP try to patch up this corpse but frankly they have no other option since legion isnt greenlit and if DUST moved over to legion in this state it would be the same ****** with burning trees

No point in lying about the game now, its already in the coffin as it stands

Did you write this while you were hovering 1,000 meters in the sky?

You have the kind of negativity that I hate and I think the community would be better without you.

Help me show CCP through this thread, that I appreciate there work!

I think you're wrong. I am willing to bet most people do know what that is, but it was ignored so many times that they gave up trying.

The OP is not constructive criticism; its bullying in most places.

Constructive Criticism involves three parts.

CLEARLY pointing out the flaw.
FULLY UNDERSTANDING the flaw
OFFERING alternatives or solutions to correct the flaw that respects the UNDERSTANDING of the flaw.

There's no reason to be upset with CCP atm.

And EVERY reason to be happy with them.

They are taking the concept that Dust SHOULD have been, and moving it to a platform where the concept CAN exist.

The game looks and behaves nothing like it was advertised. Unlike, EVE which promises fun, engrossing personal meta-story and epic battles. AND DELIVERS.

The only people crying about Legion, are poor fools that are too damn cheap to buy a better platform.
Not CCP's fault that a PC or PS4 is out of your budget, and they are under no obligation to cater to your outdated hardware or sense of contentment.

I'm supposed to thank this company for taking my money and leaving to another platform? 2 years here, and I should be thankful I wasted my time believing in a lie? No one played this game because the game itself is good - we played because CCP promised it a future. So we helped, we told CCP where the bad parts are so they can fix it, so when they finally start advertisement and marketing they'll have that AAA game they always wanted.

Blaming us for being too critical is the stupidest ******* thing I have ever heard and makes me want to delete your toon. CCP decided themselves to abandon us - and it wasn't over the game being bad... because Legion is the same damn thing but with all the updates we were complaining for!

This thread is bad and so are you.

Even if the thread was bad, how does that make me a bad individual?
