Simple, every team kill substracts 5-10 LP from your payout. If the person has been banned once before not only does it lower your standings but for the next team kill it subtracts 20 LP from your Payout. This way people wontbSynv and farm WP.

For any tipe of team kill : 100 lp less per frendly kill and no salvage

What about when someone kills you? I really feel like the best solution to team killing is simply setting team mates of the team killer attack the player in question without repercussion for a certain period of time.
Here is how my proposed mechanic would work:
1) Dusty McTeamkill murders a Scouty McHack while she is hacking a point.
2) Scouty McHack hits square on the bleed out screen punishing Dusty McTeamkill.
3) For 5 min a red skull appears next to Dusty McTeamkill's name when looked at by anyone on his team.
4) Scouty McHack and her squad find Dusty McTeamkill and repeatedly kill him for 5 min. (Thats what he gets)
5) Dusty McTeamkill is unable to use the punish button during the 5 min he has the teamkilling skull timer.
While I understand where the OP and the rest of you are coming from I really don't like the CCP driven nature of your solution. By making it so players have to deal with team killers they have much more ownership of the problem making it a more enjoyable part of the game. There would still be consequences but they would be much more player driven. Additionally my method allows for people to make mistakes without repercussions, assuming their team members know the team killing was accidental.
I realize my suggestion would also require a client side update though, and that this is not really in the cards for the short term.

Being a frequent FW player: Teamkills happen, sometimes unintentionally it's usually best just to ignore them and move on as dedicated awoxers *always* get themselves kicked. However, there are also a few reasons that one actually *should* teamkill, If you start shooting me for no reason right at the start of the game you will get a breach scrambler pistol to the head and then another to terminate you, If you get in one of my vehicles and refuse to get out you will be shot out, though those are generally the only two situations you'll be killed by me.
There are also situations where you can 'teamkill' and yet have no control over it should we be punished for it? - a lot of people that I run with set up remote + proxy traps to deal with tanks, occasionally we have ****wit blues run over and stand on the mines then shoot them causing us to 'teamkill' when we had no influence over it. Sometimes even a well placed orbital can teamkill. It's also possible that if you do a tiny amount of damage to an LAV and they do something like drive into a tank you'll see a message like 'Malleus Malificorum (commited suicide) [Stupidblueberry]". Should we be punished for this as well?
I'd like to see higher standings loss when fighting for enemies, but honestly awoxing/teamkilling isn't a problem and it almost needs more permissive and flexible settings to avoid being kicked. Most of the time anyone gets kicked is from an OB that a pilot might have been late in calling. The only other time I've seen people get kicked for being idiotic was when some guy was trying to forge a friendly tank because the tank did something he didn't like. |

You just know the goons would exploit that. Q-Sync 15 men into a match, and repeatedly gank the one poor blue berry.

I only team kill/ troll when my team is losing. and when someone is hacking a poing i will shoot a little to stop hacking then i go in to get the hack instead of a measly assist

Teamkilling is a part of what makes FW different from pubs.
As general rules: Don't run proto in FW (unless you're rich, like myself)
If you don't want to be teamkilled don't team kill
Don't hack CRUs when people (tryhards, like myself) are camping it
Under no circumstances, ever, never ever in all your life, run Officer gear in FW (it attracts troll, unlike myself)

The penalty is already too steep for my tastes (and for CCP imo).
-450 standing (which comes to 6 wins or about 2 hours of playing at best) for every kick, whether accidental or not. And that's for only 2 TKs. |
