So... is this guy a scout, or heavy? Or just a troll? I really can't tell at this point, but it seems rather hilarious that someone is raging about the assault suits getting a buff... or is it the heavy nerf coming up? That I can see being annoyed about, what with CCP giving a major buff to assaults and a relatively heavy nerf to... er, heavies. Hopefully it won't screw things up, but seriously. Can anyone really believe the assaults are going to become FoTM? They still won't be able to do anything special!

When Logies went that route, they had the option to tank huge amounts of HP while having high regen AND the ability to carry a mass of equipment.

Heavies have gone a similar route because of the power of the HMG and the massive amount of HP they can tank, nearly 2000 on a few.

Scouts sorta went that way with 1.8 due to the introduction of the cloak and the huge buff they received, but that has since died down to an extent. Decent amount of Gal and Cal scouts still running around, but they're certainly not a majority.

The assaults, however, aren't getting a single new item. No super weapons that can only be fit on them, no equipment, no awesome jetpack... they're just getting their eHP, CPU/PG, and slot layout increased... I don't even think the bonuses they get are being changed. Commando suits and heavies still have the ability to out damage them, scouts can out E-War them, and they certainly won't be able to compete with Logies on any level whatsoever... So my question is, how does something that can't do a single thing special or better than the suits meant to do those things become FoTM? Yea, I'm sure there will be more people using them, people will likely come out of the woodwork to test the suits, and the old assault players will start using their suits again on a regular basis, but... they get nothing special. There's nothing to keep people playing with the suits far beyond the initial time period, no cloak or anything else. It's just going to make them a good frontline suit and nothing more.
